So, for months now, I have been typing VC’s Clayton Cowles or VC’s Cory Petit and I finally had enough!
I had to figure out what VC stood for, as it wasn’t making sense to me. Clearly they are an elite group of Letterers, maybe on par with Richard Starkings’ Comiccraft or Todd Klein, the two names of Lettering that I knew. Well, them and a third one, dear to all of our hearts.
That third gentleman would be … Chris Eliopoulos!
Who of course, gave the world, The Pet Avengers! Staring Lockheed and a few other animals!

I now know that VC stands for Virtual Calligraphy and it is Chris Eliopoulos’ lettering studio!
I am not familiar with Rus Wooton or Randy Gentile but I’ve been typing Cory Petit and Clayton Cowles a bunch lately.
I know that Eliopoulos lettered Infinity 1, but he doesn’t call himself VC’s Chris Eliopoulos but that makes sense as then it would have to read Chris Eliopoulos of VC fame or something along those lines.
I’m not sure how we are suppose to know what VC stood for without doing the Google search but I finally had enough this morning and had to get some answers.
Reading some back issues, there has been credits that read : VC’s Chris Eliopoulos.
