Lifedeath is probably the best comic starring the X-Men, to capture depression and hope. Windsor-Smith carries this issue. His style is very realistic and grand.
Storm is being cared for by Forge. She doesn’t know that, if not for him, she would have her powers still.
This comic doesn’t have Kitty anywhere besides the cover.
Xavier and Nightcrawler are looking for the missing Rogue. Cold Water on the X-Books forum of Comic Book Resources, mentioned that Kurt is suppose to have a blue tongue. Can’t confirm that with this issue, but I am on the watch.
Ororo swims with Forge, we find out that Forge is missing a hand and a leg, they are not enchantments but replacements.
Dire Wraiths attack Rogue and Val Cooper. One Dire Wraith touches Rogue, and she panics. This is how Xavier and Nightcrawler locate her.
Ororo finds a nice pink dress, she wears it hoping to impress Forge. He is shock to see her in it, she changes to a white set of overalls. This shows off more of her body.
They kiss. Forge takes a phone, she picks up another phone – which isn’t possible these days, is it? She finds out that Forge created the gun.
They have this huge fight. We get an origin for Forge, including the Adversary. Setting up Fall of the Mutants in Uncanny X-Men 227.
Storm punches Forge. She leaves to find herself again.
