It has been two years since Tom Clancy passed away.
Back then, I was hesitant to do a post about it, wanting to be strictly a comic review blog with some other postings but wasn’t sure about it. Now, as we all know, I have gotten to the point where I feel like I can post any subject.
Of his novels, I only read Debt of Honor and Executive Decision, two Jack Ryan novels. Which I really liked. I should read The Bear and the Dragon, as that also deals with Jack Ryan as the President.
I haven’t seen any of the films based on his work or played any of the video games either.
Probably be decades before someone would will make a movie based on Debt of Honor and Executive Orders, which is how I found out about the books in the first place was an article about how similar the 9-11 attacks were to the book, Debt of Honor (they really weren’t that similar).
