I was speaking to someone recently about how great of a character Lee Forrester is. It made me want to see what was her latest appearance. It was in X-Men Volume Two issues 16 through 19, way back in December 2011. No wonder I hadn’t thought about her.
Thanks to our friends at comicbookdb.com, I now know that she has 29 proper appearances :

Of those 29, I own 20 of them, which is pretty impressive. I own 70% of her appearances!
The ones I’m missing make sense –
New Mutants Volume One 23 & 26, don’t have Magik (but I own the surrounding issues)
Cable Volume One 11, 12 and 13 – why would I? Except I do own the conclusion, issue 14.
X-Men Volume Two 12, 17, 18 and 19 – her latest and last storyline.
She dated Cyclops and then met and had a bit of a fling with Magneto. Apparently she met Cable and was attracted to him until she found out he was her ex-boyfriend’s son all grown up. That happens to the best of us.
When I did my review of Uncanny X-Men 143, I didn’t even know that was Lee Forrester’s first appearance. I should have known that, looking back at it, as she just gets a quick introduction – in that classic Claremont style!
Her first name is really, Aleytys, which I imagine has to be heard to be believed. Ah-Lee-Tis, maybe?
