Which I will admit, annoys me so much about Hamilton, but it is part of his history and it affects so much of the rest of his story/life, that it has to be included.
But now I can’t watch this segment without stopping the play and immediately want to watch Katherine Ryan’s incredible take on the situation :

I’m so glad she’s on her way to 2 million views, as I’m sure we’re at least a hundred of those. As soon as the song starts, my brain already wants to watch Katheryn Ryan’s segment.
What I may just do is actually play the video on my phone and use it as a commentary to the scene. I’ll do it at least once. Plus, it will time out pretty nicely.
I would highly recommend her Netflix special, Glitter Room. It is very funny. The first time we watched it, we were essentially waiting for the above segment to start, and there were a couple times, we were like, here it comes, but then it didn’t happen. Well worth the wait.
She has a 2017 special, In Trouble, that is also pretty funny.
Hey, Lin-Manuel Miranda even supports her view point! So it does get better than this.
