My plan is to avoid Armageddon has long as I can.

Wonder Man 1, is a hard pass for me. Written by Gerry Duggan, so it should be good.

Daredevil 1, with Stephanie Phillips? Should be great! I love so much the corner box is back.

Sentry 1, another hard pass. I do like Paul Jenkins back with the character.

Avengers 36, I do like Storm and Captain Britain, the boy one, being on the cover.

Alias : Red Band 1, written by Sam Humphries, sounds interesting.

I’m already getting both of the Stefano Caselli connecting covers. Also, if you want it through DCBS, you have to preorder it now. Still no Kitty Pryde in any of these solicitations, which I find worrying.

Ashley Allen writing even more Moonstar?! Yes, please! We’re missing one variant cover, and I was hoping Magik would be on one of them, but I’ll go with the Su cover, of her reading Daredevil 1, that’s fun.

Generation X-23 2, I need more of a hook for this series, but it does sound like a blast.

Cyclops 2, sounds good too, Scott vs the Reavers.

I still want a pure Magik variant cover, like the Colossus shown one, but the main cover looks good.

Storm : Earth’s Mightiest Mutant 2, with Marvel Rival’s Galacta’s first canon appearance!

Uncanny X-Men 25, vs The Legion of Monsters, sounds like a lot of fun.

I really wish X-MEN wasn’t shipping twice. Magik is on the main cover to 26, and hopefully is on one of the variants for 27.

Wolverine 17, now with Silver Sable, who I really like. Be nice if this was one of the issues Nightcrawler shows up in. We must never forget Uncanny Spider-Man!

Ultimate Wolverine 15, I’m tempted to stop preordering this. Ultimate Sprite is dead, and Magik is around? Maybe? I’m sure I can add it to my wishlist later. Two variant covers, so I’ll see if Sprite is on one of them, or Magik.

Ultimate Endgame 4, some heroes will fall, some villains will rise, penultimate issue. Tempted to not preorder this as well. Four variants, so maybe I’ll check for Magik covers?

Ultimates 22, so Bucky is Red Skull? That’s a hard pass for me.

Godzilla Infinity Roar 2, I do like Godzilla chocking out Galactus, that’s a cool cover. I see Fantastic Four will be in this, so maybe Magik will appear? I’ll have to check the covers.

Imperial Guardians 1, my pal Greg, will love Darkhawk being on a major team again. I like Captain Marvel being here as well. And Gamora?!

X-Men Annual 1, so this will be Volume 7 Annual 1? Fandom will have to determine that. I like Ryan Stegman becoming a writer. Three unseen variant covers, so I’ll have to see who appears on those.

Iceman Omega 1, printing the very fun Luciano Vecchio Iceman Infinity comic, that Magik appears in one panel for, and Kate Pryde is mentioned. So, I’ll be buying this. Also, hopefully this means Lovable Lockheed is close to seeing print.

Hulk : Smash Everything 4, he goes up against the mightiest heroes, so probably just the Avengers? Or could it be everybody? Issue 1 was okay.

Sorcerer Supreme 4, so they quit putting Magik on these covers, so I’m out. Odd they haven’t rebranded this series to be : Scarlet Witch : Sorcerer Supreme, probably would sell more copies.

Black Cat 8, I do like her teaming up with Venom Mary Jane. That sounds fun.

Phoenix : The Untold Story, is getting facsimiled. Such a good comic.

Planet of the Apes vs Fantastic Four 2, one of these days, the X-Men will be part of these crossovers, and Marvel is going to take so much of my money.

Comics Giveaway Day 2026 : Armageddon / X-Men 1, odd they are putting a May title in the March solicits. I wonder if I can actually preorder this from DCBS, or do I have to go to Kelly’s Comics in Great Falls? Apparently, Free Comic Book Day, is a copyrighted name, and due to the bankruptcies, two different companies have a right to the name, and they haven’t sorted that out yet, so the industry has to go with : Comics Giveaway Day, which doesn’t have the same ring to it.

It does appear that Marvel has found a way for me to get hyped for Armageddon, by placing it in the X-Men issue. Doom is apparently coming back already?! I guess in time for Doomsday.

Ultimate X-Men Omnibus V4, if I had omnibus money, even at half off, I would want this! Neither of these covers, but I love this run of Ultimate X-Men so much! Ultimate Shadowcat really becoming one of the key pillars of the Ultimate Universe (well, the first one).

ooof, none of these Age of Revelation trades sound appealing. Very much a Costco bulk situation, where you get two of what you want, and a third of something you really don’t want.

But I guess they couldn’t put Unbreakable X-Men, Binary, Omega Kids, Book of Revelation, and Expatriate X-Men into one trade as no one would buy the other ones. 😀

Check for variant covers for : Ultimate Wolverine 14, Ultimate Endgame 4, X-Men Annual 1, and Godzilla Infinity Roar 2.

Seven comics, not too bad. Thankfully X-Men United is technically on another ship cycle, so I’m saving a few dollars there.
