Follow along as I see what interests me in June 2026 from Marvel!
Marvel Comics June 2026 Solicitations
Avengers Armageddon 1 has Wolverine as part of the team, which makes sense as he’s already had his Armageddon lead up series.
Captain America 12, somehow Doctor Doom is already back, just in time for the first trades of this to be available to the confused general public of Avengers Doomsday.
Queen in Black 1, so Marvel is attempting two crossovers during the summer?!
Spider-Man Long Way Home 1, with Punisher and Incredible Hulk, this makes a lot more sense now that the Brand New Day trailer has come out.
. . .

No mention of the X-Men in Infernal Hulk 8, but I’m under the impression from issue 7 to issue 10, the final issue, this is supposed to have the X-Men in it.
Five variant covers, so maybe one of those would have Magik on it?
. . .
Doomquest 2, Doom finds himself on the Titanic. Ruh oh.
Ultimate Impact Reborn 2, I feel like I already regret buying the first issue. This is a pass for me unless I hear something noteworthy in the next few weeks.
. . .

Lockheed is on the main cover of Jay and Silent Bob : Jays of Future Past 1, so that’s the cover I’m getting. Shame he isn’t on the Noto cover.
. . .
X-Men 97 : Season Two 1, this is supposed to be the official bridge miniseries between the two seasons, but we’ll see about that. If Kitty Pryde or Magik is in this, I’ll get more excited.
X-Men Outback 1, all of these retro series have been leading up to this one. This isn’t my era of the X-Men, but if they ever do an Excalibur retro series, I’ll be all over it.
Bishop 1, I love that we’re getting a Shard appearance. I wonder if he’ll make any Kate Pryde or Marauders references here? I do appreciate that this is set in the now. Well, it is Bishop, so it could be full of time nonsense.
Uncanny X-Men 29, we have confirmation that Cannonball is one of the New Mutants. I hope Calico and the Outliers are okay, wherever they are. We’re also finally heading back to Greymalkin Prison.
Uncanny X-Men 30, aliens are coming to Louisiana. Also, this is double shipping? During the summer time?
. . .

I like X-Men 31 & 32 having the Science Team upfront. I wonder if Magik is seen at all here? She’s not shown on any of the known variant covers, but there is still six unseen variant covers, so I’ll have to keep tracking that. It’ll be nice if more variant covers were shown at the time of the solicitations. Also, X-Men is double shipping as well?! There really should only be the one X-Title double shipping a month.
. . .
Generation X-23 5 seems like a fight issue.
Inglorious X-Force 6, versus the MLF!
. . .

No Kitty reference in X-Men United 4. She’s not on any of the two of six covers, so I’ll have to keep checking for which variant cover I want.
. . .
Storm Earth’s Mightiest Mutant 5, Storm having to fight actual Cyclops is fun.
. . .

I’m going to get the variant cover for Moonstar 4.
. . .
Wade Wilson Deadpool 5, I guess the choice is to have six issues featuring Hammerhead or six issues of any other stories, and we’re sticking with Hammerhead.
Cyclops 5, still fighting Donald Pierce and the Reavers. It would be nice to know if Magik keeps showing up in this series for a panel at the time.
. . .

Does the lack of variant covers mean we’re not getting Moonstar and Magik & Colossus renewed for five additional issues? I’ll be getting the variant cover.
. . .
Civil War Unmasked 2, no reference to Bishop or the X-Men so it looks like I may be done with this series.
Wolverine 21, I love Nightcrawler and Logan together.
Wolverine 22, Logan’s claws are broken. Younger me would buy this issue for the historic moment, but I’m not that young anymore. What is the most valuable recent comic?
. . .

What If Scott Summers Stayed with his wife, and mother of his child, Madelyne Pryor? This has potential to launch its own complete line. I’m buying this as I can only imagine we’ll see Kitty Pryde and Lockheed when they cut to the X-Men. Hopefully they are on one of the unseen four variant covers.
. . .

J. Scott Campbell’s variant cover collection Just Spectacular Collection (get it?) will have a page for his Magik cover. I love the idea of this one shot, and Marvel should do these more often. Once Russell Dauterman does a Kitty Pryde costume gallery cover, they should print all of those issues in a comic.
. . .
Iron Man 6, I got super excited to see Carmen Carnero and Nolan Woodard handle Spider-Man, but we’re getting a guest artist. I wonder if they’re already moved onto another title?
It’s Jeff : Brand New Week, is a clever title. It is a reprint comic, but they don’t list the issues, so we’ll have to wait and see if Lockheed is seen in any of these.
Godzilla Infinity Roar 5, Doctor Doom is involved, as is Mecha-Godzilla (who I love), and I do appreciate them listing actual characters appearing in this – Human Torch, Miles Morales, Man-Thing, Kang, and Ghost Rider. There are two unseen variant covers, so I’ll check those variant covers. I feel like I can take a chance, and not buy this.
. . .
At one point, I thought this was going to be a light month, so let’s see if that really is the case.
Infernal Hulk 8, a variant cover with the X-Men, ideally
Jay and Silent Bob : Jays of Future Past 1, the Marco Checchetto regular cover with Lockheed.
X-Men 30 & 31, any variant cover for either cover.
X-Men United 4, any variant cover with Kitty on it.
Moonstar 4, the variant cover.
Magik & Colossus 5, the variant cover.
What If : Uncanny X-Men 1, ideally a variant cover with Kitty on it.
Just Spectacular Collection 1
Nine comics, so the typical amount of comics.
Check Godzilla Infinity Roar 5 variant covers, and track It’s Jeff : Brand New Week, to see if Lockheed appears at all.
