The third one in the series :
The other two are nice from what I remember but this was the only one I ever wanted to own.
Being that Wolverine is present on it, there is a variant version of this statue that should be titled, Logan and Kitty, as he’s in a white undershirt – which I rather only own the Wolverine one.
This is by far the tallest statue I own.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to expand my Magik collection to outside of comics but then I realized I own every action figure they have made of her (the one!) and I plan on buying or already own one of the three Heroclix figures of Illayan Rasputin so why not add a statue to the ol’ Wishlist. That’s what the list is for, after all, to day dream about.
Look how awesome that statue is!
Then there is also the super rare variant that I will never own as it is usually priced in the thousands
Whenever I see this statue, I think about the move from Arizona to Montana. This was my only request if I agreed to move to a completely different statue and take our chances, I really wanted to own this.
This is also the last statue slash high ticket item I’ve bought that is comic book related.
I like how much older Kitty looks with this statue, she looks like she is in her mid-twenties and really for battle. I also like the touch with the Ogun mask, an important part of her character growth, once the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine miniseries concluded, she was a completely different person. Gone was the innocent young girl and now she was a harden trained ninja.
My wife completely surprised me with the Kitty Pryde Marvel Bishoujo Statue! I wasn’t expecting it at all. When I worked at Hastings, I had ordered it with plans to one day buy it. Every so often, I would look for it and one day, I couldn’t find it and thought someone had bought it. That was months ago so I had no idea this was under some gift wrapping paper.
I can’t believe I own the Kotobukiya statue that was designed by Shunya Yamashita.
Now I believe I’m only two Shadowcat statues, but this was a real get and I couldn’t be happier!
At sixty dollars, this is the most affordable statue I’ve seen.
I’m now two behind in Kitty Pryde statues.
