I had to recheck the original Incursions announcement as I was super hyped on X-Men Incursions 1, fearing Kate Pryde of Days of Future Past, and I can only hope for, Ms. Pryde of House of M, teaming up.

X-Men Evolution!!!
I’m buying both of these covers, or at the very least, the Evolution Rogue, my favorite Rogue.
With Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost writing, it would have been fun to have X-Men Evolution incur with Wolverine and the X-Men, as both of them were involved in both shows, but I understand X-Men 92 is the property at the moment.
Evolution Kitty Pryde is on both covers, which makes sense as they are mirrored versions of each other.
AIPT asked my very specific Lockheed question to Kieron Gillen! Who is promoting his upcoming Alien vs X-Men four issue miniseries, that Chris Claremont is writing a Kitty Pryde specific back up in.
I knew it was more of a question for Chris Claremont, but it is fun to learn that Lockheed was in Gillen’s script at one point.
Also, I had no idea that the first issue took place during the Astonishing X-Men V3 era, that’s super cool.
Marvel is revisiting Secret Wars (the Jonathan Hickman one) with telling how some realities clashed with each other, and Alex Paknadel and Jim Towe are bringing us Days of Future Past versus House of M, and we know for sure DoFP Kate Pryde is involved, and I can only hope we get HoM Teacher Kitty Pryde, fresh off of her Giant Size House of M appearance (from last year).
I’m surprised it isn’t Incursions : X-Men, so that all of the one shots will be listed with each other in the future, but I’m not a marketing person.
Other titles will be : Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, X-Men ’92, and Avengers.
I’ll be curious about X-Men 92, pending on what reality they are going up against. Pryde of the X-Men, perhaps?
I suppose that is true for any of these one shots, it’ll all depend on which realities are involved.
Christopher Yost and Tony S. Daniel is bringing us a new Post-Armageddon title, MaXimum X-Men, yes, with the X in Maximum emphasized. Storm is leading Bishop, Iceman, Colossus, Psylocke, though the image makes me think it is actually Betsy Braddock, Logan, and Firestar and Justice. A pretty great cast actually. I like how the cast isn’t gutting any of the current lineups, and I’m pretty sure this is only Logan’s second team since we relaunched with From the Ashes.
Justice is finally an X-Man, and I’m sure he’s going to be whining to Firestar all of the time, but at least she has her amazing friend, Iceman. Iceman being reunited with former Marauders Storm and Bishop.
A pretty great cast.
I keep wanting to type “MaXimum Carnage” as I love that storyline, but I’ll work on that.
John Byrne named Kitty Pryde after a classmate in one of his classes. John Byrne designed Kitty Pryde after a young Sigourney Weaver.
Knowing this, I have bought Ellen Ripley, Weaver’s character in the Aliens movies (and one Laser Cats) in Fortnite, Dead by Deadlight, and very recently, Fall Guys.

Ellen Ripley’s green jumpsuit looks exactly like Days of Future Past Kate Pryde, so it is the closest I will ever get to playing as Kate Pryde in any of those games.

Plus, the Aliens movies are pretty cool.
Though I am committed to buying the Star Lord skin in Fall Guys, as I think pretend it is Kitty Pryde Star Lord, the hair is wavy just enough it could maybe be her.
Now Marvel is releasing a four issue Aliens vs X-Men crossover. Not only that, it will feature a four part back up story that stars Kitty Pryde versus both the Brood and the Aliens! The Xenomorphs. Which will be written by Chris Claremont!
This feels specifically made for me!
I’m committing now to buying whichever covers as Kitty on it.
Hopefully she is also in the main story, but they got me committed.
This feels great compared to taking a chance on crossovers like Godzilla where maybe Magik might show up, if we’re lucky.
I am tempted to get both the Muppets Take Marvel, and the Doom crossover, just because the solicts imply Doom is fighting everyone, and maybe it’ll have either Kitty Pryde, Lockheed, or Magik, at the very least.
At least the main cover has Wolverine, Storm, and Emma Frost, so I feel the chances are high, plus, I love the Muppets. Especially Miss Piggy, and Statler and Waldorf.
Which is similar to a Ben Grimm one shot they had recently. Cool concept. Plus, I can always give the comic to Walker D, if none of my faves show up in it.
Kieron Gillen and Geraldo Borges are going to do an uncanny job with the main story.
Imagine if Lockheed is in the back up?! That’ll make sense as he’s the Brood’s greatest enemy. Remember that?
