Gorgon to Jury
Out of respect for the legendary artist, Herb Trimpe, who sadly passed away on the 13th of April, 2015 – I am reviewing this issue.
http://www.newsarama.com/24126-herb-trimpe-passes-away-at-75.html
My goal is to celebrate Trimpe like I do Dick Ayers.
Herb Trimpe was the first gentleman to ever draw Wolverine, as well as being a legendary Incredible Hulk artist. He drew the Canadian in all thre issues of Incredible Hulk 180, 181 and 182. He also co-created Captain Britain and the Shroud. Herb Trimpe, May 26,1 939 to April 13, 2015 – even at the age of 75, seems like too soon!
In Captain Britain 3, in 1976, Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe created . . .
The Hurricane!
Here is Marvel Database’s entry on the Hurricane

Of course, whenever I think of the name, Hurricane, I think of Gregory Helms
I’m not that familiar the Trimpe Hurricane but I am familiar with these other characters from the handbook.
Gorgon, the dude that killed Wolverine in Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s Wolverine Enemy of the State / Agent of SHIELD storyline.
Grandmaster, of Contest of Champions
Gravity, created by Sean McKeever and Mike Norton
Great Game, a concept that I loved that started in Scarlet Spider 2 and sadly, didn’t last much longer after that.
Guardian, of Alpha Flight Fame
Jonas Harrow, Marvel’s version of DC’s Hugo Strange (that’s who I associate him with, I may even get the two names confused)
Hate-Monger, Hitler Clone
Hawkeye, of Young Avengers fame – Kate Bishop
art by Keith Pollard
from New Mutants Volume One Issue 39
Hellions, all the teams and the squad, that have gone by the name. Kitty Pryde’s first mention in one of these profiles
H.E.R.B.I.E., Franklin Richards’ robo pal
High Evolutionary
Hood, which was nice to be reminded of this would-be Kingpin’s origins – they are not that good
Howard the Duck, the great!
Hulking, also of Young Avengers
Humus Sapien, of Thunderbolts fame
Hybrid, the sick fuck of a villain from ROM! Kitty’s second mention in a profile, this issue
Hydra, gets four pages!
Hyperion, of Squadron Supreme fame
Immortus, at three pages!
Shola Inkosi, Kitty Pryde’s third and final mention in a profile, as Shola’s first appearance is in Mekanix 1.
Iron Lad, of Young Avengers fame
J2, of MC2 timeline
Madison Jeffries, of Alpha Flight
Jester, who I now know was a decent Daredevil villain now
Joystick, who was part of the Great Game storyline
Jury, who I mostly know as the guards of supervillain prison, The Vault. But really, I know them from the video game, Spider-Man Separation Anxiety.
. . .
Herb Trimpe, you will be missed, good sir!
