Cover by Paolo Rivera
Kitty Pryde made the cover and way on the top edge of it! I thought for sure when the logo was going to be added, that she would be covered up on it and I would be a fool to have bought it. Now it has paid off.
There are several short stories and fake covers and some featurettes.
Ben Urich writes a story about the anniversary of the Fantastic Four coming back from space, the first time.
Cover – Squirrel Girl marrying Rocket Raccoon.
Cover – Captain Baby punching Iron Baby, recreating Civil War
Stan Lee’s very first Marvel work, given life by Bruce Timm. Then the two page text story is reprinted.

A Jessica Jones-Cage story, she is helping a lady find the fire fighter who saved her during the original Human Torch’s first appearance.
A featurette on the Golden Heroes
Cover – Portland Avengers
Cover – The Internet’s most requested X-Characters on one team.
By Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Quinones, a title I’m sure would make some people happy but if it had Lockheed on it, I would be buying it for sure!
There is a Spider-Man story
A featurette on the African Characters
Cover – Groot, the Attorney
We get the colored X-Men Kissing cover –
Amorous X-Mwah 1, I would totally buy it by Bendis, Pichelli and Jason Keith!
Somehow, it being in color, makes it feel even more real. I would buy this series! Rogue and Nightcrawler, I am still not cool about that. Neither am I okay with Northstar cheating on his husband. Nice to see Doug and Magik kissing. I’ve made my peace with it and now I want to see it.
Len Wein doing a lost Wolverine story
I really like the ‘In Memorium’ section. I’m not sure if that’s all the ones we have lost over 75 years or just the creative types. I wanted to highlight these names – Al Williamson (didn’t know he died), Archie Goodwin, Bill Everett, Carmine Infantino, Curt Swan, Dave Cockrum, Dick Ayers, Dick Giordano, Don Heck, Dwayne McDuffie, Gardner F. Fox, Gene Colan, Gil Kane, Jack Kirby, Joe Kubert (I’m surprised his name isn’t bolded), John Buscema, Mark Gruenwald, Michael Turner, Mike Esposita, Mike Wieringo, Nick Cardy, Ross Adru, Sam Rosen, Steve Gerber and Werner Roth.
The last page is a featurette on Marvel reflecting the Real World – World War II, Space Race, Drug Abuse, 9/11 and President Obama.
