Marvel November 2025 Solicitations

#ButFirst, the DC Solicits for Batman / Deadpool

https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/solicitations/14535/dc-comics-november-2025

weird this isn’t repeated for the Marvel Solications. My plan is to get the Sozomaika Emma Catwoman cover to go with my Magik Catwoman Deadpool Batman cover, but also, hoping we get a copy with either Kitty Pryde or Magik on it.

My dream would be to get a Manuel Preitano variant with Kitty Pryde and Lockheed the Dragon with Whistle and Lebowitz the Dog. Heck, I might buy two covers so I can hang one, if that were to happen.

Walker D wants the Jim Lee Batman / Wolverine cover, so we’ll be getting two covers like we did with Deadpool / Batman.

. . .

Now, the Marvel Comics of November 2025!

https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/solicitations/14543/marvel-comics-november-2025

I’m passing on the X-Men of Apocalypse, if AoA Shadowcat shows up, I’ll get those, she has survived the event now that Giant Size Age of Apocalypse has happened. Thanks, Ms. Marvel!

Also passing on X-Men : Tales from the Age of Apocalypse, which is just reprinting the first issue of four minis, and Generation Next isn’t even one of them.

. . .

The second comic I’m buying is Amazing X-Men 2, now that we know this is the title with Darkchild.

. . .

The third comic I’m buying is Book of Revelation 2. I have a theory the Spirit of Philidelphia is Kitty Pryde, just look at that lady on the cover, reminds me of when she couldn’t solidify after the first Mutant Massacre.

But there is a terrific Inhyuk Lee Magik streetwear variant cover, that if it isn’t $35, I’m going to get that cover, so less risky of an investment.

. . .

Unbreakable X-Men 2, I don’t see Calico on the cover or the solicit, so I’ll be passing on this one.

. . .

The fourth comic I’m buying is Expatriate X-Men 2, which is the Exceptional X-Men series of the crossover. Plus, it has Ms. Marvel and Melee, I love them both, so I’m here for it.

. . .

The Last Wolverine 2, adding Nightcrawler and Heather Hudson gets me more interested in this series.

Laura Kinney : Sabretooth 2 has Gabby and Akihiro, so that’s cool, and apparently a famous X-Villain returning. Still a pass for me.

Rogue Storm 2, Gambit is now involved in two AoR titles.

Undeadpool 2, now has Cable. Still a pass.

Iron & Frost 2, one of the titles I’m definitely looking forward to.

Longshots 2, now has the X-Babies?! If Shadowkitty was on the cover, I would buy it so quickly! Three variants, so there’s still hope.

Binary 2, still playing coy about which lady has the title.

Sinister’s Six 2, which has Logan, so why are they looking for him in Last Wolverine? Odd.

X-Vengers 2, I love Dani Moonstar leading the Avengers, she should be leading a major team. Hopefully once the timeline resets, Dani is placed in a major role.

Omega Kids 2, now with Rachel Summers, who I love, but enough to read a Quentin Quire book? We’ll have to find out.

Radioactive Spider-Man 2, fighting Mayhem, with the aid of Ghost-Spider and whoever Spin is?

Planet She-Hulk, I like Jennifer Walters having a new title, and written by Stephanie Phillips? Sounds like a great combo.

Daredevil / Punisher : The Devil’s Trigger 1, I like Jimmy Palmiotti coming back to the Marvel Knights line.

. . .

One World Under Doom 9 finally ends this event. I thought we were supposed to get this as a variant cover :

if we do, I’ll get it as my fifth comic. And if it isn’t $35. I got burned by not buying the Russell Dauterman Magik 8 cover through DCBS, and now I’m super worried about how expensive variant covers can be. It would still be rare me spending that much on a cover, but a Dauterman Kitty Pryde cover is one such cover I’ll spend $35 for.

. . .

Echo : Seeker of Truth 1, nice that Marvel keeps trying with Echo.

. . .

Spider-Man : Holiday Spectacular 1 is the sixth comic I’ll be buying, as I do love me a Marvel Holiday Special. Usually guaranteed to get a Kitty Pryde story, but I see Thing is referenced, and on the cover, BUT! X-Men are referenced as well. Three variant covers, so maybe Kitty will be on one of these?

. . .

Marvel Zombies : Red Band 3, have to check to see if Kitty or Magik show up in this.

Amazing Spider-Man 15 has Warlock coming out of Spider-Man’s new suit, or IS Spider-Man’s new suit. Have to make sure I read this once it is out.

. . .

My seventh comic is Ultimate Wolverine 11, and I’m so thrilled that Ultimate Sprite is on the traditional cover! Magik is after the Opposition, so maybe we’ll get Sprite vs Magik? Which is a match up I don’t want to see anyone get hurt over.

. . .

Ultimate X-Men 21 should continue to be as great as ever.

Battleworld 3, supposedly we’re getting the next big character in this, a Venomized Spider-Man, who does look cool.

Fantastic Four 5 has Black Cat, I love that Felicia is getting her due.

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 5, now covered in the Carnage symbiote for a variant cover, which is fun.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe 4, Spider-Man and Wolverine are on the main cover, and the solicit states Black Panther opens Wakanda to the heroes.

. . .

So that’s November 2025 from Marvel!

I’ll be getting :

Batman / Deadpool with the Sozomaiki Emma Frost / Catwoman cover, and the Jim Lee Batman / Wolverine cover

Amazing X-Men 2, main cover

Book of Revelation 2, the Inhyuk Lee cover

Expatriate X-Men 2

One World Under Doom 9, the Sorcerers Supreme cover (if we get one), Devmalya Pramanik is the name to look for.

Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular, ideally a cover featuring Kitty Pryde

Ultimate Wolverine 11, main cover with Ultimate Sprite

6 or 7 titles, not a bad month.

What are you buying, dear reader?

Marvel October 2025 Solicitations

Posted by John Klein III on July 25, 2025
Posted in: Solicitations. Tagged: Solicts. Leave a comment

Follow along as I see what excites me in October 2025

https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/solicitations/14527/marvel-comics-october-2025

X-Men Age of Revelation is upon us! I feel like I’m not going to be as involved with this.

I want to commit to whatever the main series is, so Overture feels like what that is.

. . .

Amazing X-Men 1, the secret ally, from the cover, appears to be the leader of the 3K X-Men, and not Magik like I thought.

Book of Revelation 1, there is a Ghost of Philadelphia, could that be Magik?
I might just have to end up eBaying comics later.

Unbreakable X-Men, Gambit and either two or three others.

. . .

Expatriate X-Men is clearly the Exceptional X-Men title of the crossover, so I’ll commit. Be nice if we knew these were 1 of 4 or just one shots, but I love those Exceptional X-Men members, so I’ll support this series.

. . .

The Last Wolverine, with Leonard from Wolverine V8, who I liked, but this is a pass for me.

Laura Kinney : Sabretooth, I like Laura, and I do not like Sabretooth, so this a pass.

Rogue Storm, with Gateway, Iceman, Fantomex, Spiral and Warpath, all trying to kill Storm, that’s a pass for me.

UnDead-Pool, is a hard pass.

Binary, is it Carol back in her Binary form, but infused with the Phoenix, or is Jean cosplaying as Binary?

X-Vengers, I love Dani being the leader of the Avengers. Glad she brought Cannonball along.

Sinister’s Six, I love how fun the title is, but Sinister, Havok, Black Cat, Domino, Omega Red, Fantomex, and Venom does not sell me a series.

Omega Kids, glad the Quentin Quire fans have a title to get excited about.

Cloak OR Dagger is very interesting.

Radioactive Spider-Man, with his radioactive spider blood, is another hard pass for me. Great Joe Kelly is writing this, so it feels important.

Iron & Frost, I love the concept for this, as I did grow to like Emma Frost and Tony Stark together.

Longshots, I love Gerry Duggan and Jonathan Hickman coming back for this. Mojo messing with Wonder Man, Hellcat, Bishop, Rhino, and Kraven. Which is not a cast that interests me that much.

. . .

World of Revelation, tells us more about the world of Revelation (great name for an issue), I probably should get this as Kitty Pryde and Magik are not shown anywhere, so maybe they’ll be part of the two prelude series. We’ll learn how Dani joined the Avengers.
There’s also a part of me that just wants to get Expatriate X-Men, and call it good.

Fantastic Four / Gargoyles, such a fun idea for a crossover.

Return to Planet Hulk, not for me.

. . .

I switched my cover to Magik & Catwoman so quickly! Walker D is getting the Skottie Young cover.

AIPT lists the updated section :

• PLUS as-yet-unrevealed backup stories further shaking the Marvel and DC Universes!

so we know there are three back ups, but maybe there is a fourth? Maybe featuring Magik & Catwoman?
I would love that. Or with Elektra and Batgirl Cassie?

I keep finding myself excited for the Batman / Deadpool crossover, and ideally, the huge success of this, giving us plenty of more crossovers.

. . .

I’m skipping all of these Imperial titles, the first two did not connect with me.

Marvel Knights : Punisher, I do love Jimmy Palmiotti. I’m not anticipating a Daredevil and a Ghost Rider miniseries.

Battleworld 2, looks like Marvel is finally doing something with CrossGen. If Days of Future Past Kate Pryde shows up, I’ll add it to my eBay list.

Marvel Zombies Red Band 2, zombies are going to Secret Wars, so I’ll be checking for a Lockheed appearance. I did not see him on either cover.

One World Under Doom 8, Doom vs everybody and the X-Men are listed, as the team. This event feels like it is lasting forever, but also has been super missable.

Ultimate Spider-Man Incursion 5, Miles and the Maker back at it.

. . .

I’ve learn recently that Ultimate Wolverine is a planned 12 issues, so I might as well keep buying the series. Eurasian Republic leaders are referenced, and Magik is one of them, so it should be safe.
I wonder what the two variant covers are?

. . .

Miles Morales : Spider-Man 39, deals with the fallout of the Ultimate Incursion.

Marvel DC Spider-Boy Facsimile copy makes me regret a little for not picking that comic when I recently got a chance to get a free Amalgam copy. I went with Iron Lantern, but was tempted by Spider-Boy. Now it is going to be hard to distinguish the copies on eBay.
But I’m still passing on it.

. . .

X-Men Undertow, reprinting the infinity comic, X-Men From the Ashes, issues 19-25.
Magik appears in issues 23 & 24, and I really need to support these physical copies of digital comics, as I really want them to print Lovable Lockheed.

. . .

Strange Tales lists a slew of magical characters, but not Magik, so this is a pass for now.

. . .

see, this is what I need from a solicitation. Magik, clearly on the cover, and variant cover, and in the description, this is how you get me to buy a comic.
Plus, Jeff the Land Shark is a pretty fun character.

. . .

Emma Frost White Queen 5, the conclusion. First two issues have been pretty great.

. . .

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 4, the Hulk issue. That Godzilla as Wolverine cover is very silly.
if I can keep October cheap, and it appears I should be able to, I’ll try to get this cover for Walker D, and if the cover is inexpensive. A lot of ‘ifs’ there.

. . .

Death of Silver Surfer 5, looks like we are getting the Lady Surfer. We already got our tickets for Fantastic Four for next Wednesday, so I’m super excited.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe 3, Spider-Man and Wolverine are named, and an unexpected ally appears. We’ll see if Kitty Pryde and / or Magik appear at all.

. . .

so my October 2025 list is :

Expatriate X-Men 1
Ultimate Wolverine 10
X-Men The Undertow
Jeff the Land Shark 5
Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 4 – the Wolverzilla cover

and I’m debating Age of Revelation Overture and World of Revelation.

it does not appear that I’ll be keeping this month cheap enough for me to treat myself to the four back issues that I want from DCBS that are on my Ms. Marvel list, but that’s okay.

. . .

Hours after writing everything, AIPT dropped this :

SDCC 25: X-Men panel unleashes a new wave of mutant mayhem

Magik is in Amazing X-Men V3 2, and this sure looks like Kitty Pryde from Fantastic Four vs X-Men in Book of Revelation 2, so I guess I’m not debating getting World of Revelation anymore, and adding Amazing X-Men 1 to the list.

Behold . . . The Age of Revelation

Posted by John Klein III on July 10, 2025
Posted in: Uncategorized. Tagged: Age of Revelation. Leave a comment
Marvel reveals the new Age of Apocalypse, and 1 mutant is now in charge

We’re getting a new Age of Apocalypse style event this October!

With it, we’re getting new titles

Series takes place x years in the future.

Every time I see the list, I notice something new, so I wanted to share some initial thoughts :

Amazing X-Men, Volume 3

Unbreakable X-Men, I like the idea of a new adjective

Expatriate X-Men, meaning to live outside their native country, which feels very loaded with the X-Men. Also, a new adjective.

The Last Wolverine, so not Logan, but also, not Laura? Akihiro, maybe?

Binary, I’m hoping this is Carol Danvers being an X-Ally.

Cloak OR Dagger, this is the title I wanted to make a post about, as I just noticed the ‘or’

Iron & Frost, so we’re getting more Emma Frost & Tony Stark, so I like that – maybe the Kitty Pryde title?

Laura Kinney Sabretooth, so she’s been harder, probably slaying a bunch, and doesn’t feel like she can carry the Wolverine mantle anymore?

Longshots – Longshot, Dazzler, Shatterstar, and Rictor

Omega Kids, definitely the Quinten Quire book, maybe reuniting Glob Herman and friends?

Radioactive Spider-Man, makes me think of Uncanny Spider-Man, and how we should never forget that title. Maybe just the Spider-Man of the Future title?

Rogue Storm, I feel like it has been a while since Rogue and Storm were in a book together.

Sinister’s Six, probably just six Sinisters, so two more clones of his to introduce? The title that I’m least interested in.

Undead-Pool, the Deadpool title

X-Vengers, the Avengers team of the future

X-Men Book of Revelation, the main series as the series launches with a Age of Revelation 0 and Age of Revelation Overture?

I’m definitely committed to getting the Kitty Pryde and Magik series, and whichever is promoted as the main title.

Marvel September 2025 Solicitations

Posted by John Klein III on June 20, 2025
Posted in: Solicitations. Tagged: 2025, Solicts. Leave a comment

Follow along as I see what is worth getting in September from Marvel!

https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/solicitations/14507/marvel-comics-september-2025

The first book I’m getting is Deadpool / Batman, as I’m a sucker for a crossover.

. . .

X-Men of Apocalypse Alpha 1, taking place right after AoA Omega, means no Shadowcat, so this is a pass for me. Maybe she’ll show up for a panel?

Spider-Man 94 1, I guess this isn’t going to be a spinoff animated series? At least JM DeMatteis is writing it.

Battleworld 1, shame they went with Storm from Days of Future Past, instead of Kate Pryde. I wonder if she’ll show up for a panel?

Marvel Zombies : Red Band 1, a series focused on the Fantastic Four and zombies.

. . .

I’m definitely tempted to get Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 3, as it is supposed to be the X-Men issue. I’m surprised Magik didn’t make it to the cover. I do like that Iron Godzilla cover.

. . .

Imperial War : Exiles 1, the Xaviers – Charles, Xandra, and Lilandra, are on the run. This would be the part of Imperial I would care about, if Xavier wasn’t there.

. . .

The third comic I’m getting in September is Ultimate Spider-Man : Incursion 4, and either Magik featured cover works for me.

. . .

The fourth comic is Ultimate Wolverine 9. Wolverine and the Opposition is taking the fight to Magik!

. . .

One World Under Doom 7, of 9, Doom tries to his best maintain power.

Spider-Man & Wolverine 5 vs Dreadshadow and Shadow Coven. Whoever they are.

Wolverines and Deadpools 3, final issue, vs Shadow King, which is disappointing.

Uncanny X-Men 20, Logan and Ransom get the spotlight.

. . .

is that a Kitty Pryde and Lockheed cosplayer next to Captain Marvel?! I might have to get this cover.

. . .

I HAVE to get that Alex Ross Kitty Pryde and Lockheed cover! Hopefully it isn’t $35, otherwise, I’ll have to get it through eBay.

. . .

X-Men 22 implies October is going to have a big X-Event, involving Apocalypse and Doug Ramsey – The Revelation.

Laura Kinney : Wolverine 10, guest starring a sick Gabby, and Clea Strange, as they deal with Dracula’s son, Xarus.

Storm 12, Storm vs the oldest storm god, Hadad.

. . .

Magik double ships, so I don’t love that for my wallet, but this is pretty awesome. Shame instead of a Magik Alex Ross cover, we get a Havok, so that’s a hard pass for me.

. . .

Phoenix 15, still dealing with Sara Grey.

Wolverine 13, Logan heads the mafia.

. . .

No reference to Lockheed, but maybe he shows up in this?

. . .

Emma Frost : White Queen 4, Emma in Las Vegas!

Do we need a Civil War 1 reprinting month to month?

Deadpool/Wolverine 9, both are horsemen for Apocalypse.

. . .

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe 2, the X-Men get referenced, and a few on the cover, but no Kitty Pryde or Magik.

. . .

No Psylocke 11?! That’s a real shame. Especially if there is a big crossover coming.

. . .

Deadpool / Batman (twice, as Walker D wants a copy)
Godzilla Destroys Marvel Universe 3, maybe
Ultimate Spider-Man : Incursion 4
Ultimate Wolverine 9
Uncanny X-Men 21, convention cover
Exceptional X-Men 13, the Alex Ross cover
Magik 9
Magik 10
It’s Jeff & Other Marvel Tails 1, maybe
Predator Kills the Marvel Universe 2, maybe

This feels like an expensive month, so I’ll probably get the maybes off of eBay, if necessary. I really have to keep my comic purchases around $30 or so, can’t be getting too wild.

Exceptional X-Men 10

Writer : Eve L. Ewing

Artists : Carmen Carnero & Federica Mancin

Color Artist : Nolan Woodard

Letter : VC’s Travis Lanham

Pride Cover : Meghan Hetrick

This issue is going to be my comic of 2025, I can just tell. It makes me so happy.

In issue 9, Emma defeats Mister Sinister, but at a price. Not only did Emma defeat Sinister, but she also rescued Axo. Now Emma is trapped inside Sinister’s mind, where he’s having a Mad Hatter inspired tea party.

Federica Mancin draws these pages in a very fun decision. I really like the visual continuity of having Woodard do the coloring for both artists.

Emma reflects on her and Kitty’s origins, and we get a page from New Mutants V1 15.

Emma is still haunted by her Hellfire Club days, and her treatment of Kitty Pryde. Which, of course, makes me wonder if she is haunted by Firestar’s beloved horse, Butter Rum.

We catch up to the rest of the Exceptional X-Men team, Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Melee, Bronze, and Axo. They are distraught by Emma still being unconscious. Axo tells them that Emma is very much still in danger, and has to go back in to rescue her.

I do like how all of the students are X-Men now. They took down a major X-Villain, so they have earned it. Let’s hope they survive the experience.

Kitty, to her credit, did not want them to be present for the confrontation, as she wasn’t raising child soldiers. Sinister sent a clone Iceman to get them, and bring them, but since they are here, they got into the fight.

We see in Sinister’s mindscape, that he’s ten, but not a cute ten year old, he’s Sinister but as a ten year old. He likes to perform dissections, and is generally a cruel child.

Axo returns to the mindscape, Emma doesn’t miss a beat that she sacrificed herself to free him, so this undoes all of that. Sort of like the climax of Top Gun : Maverick.

Meanwhile, the Exceptional X-Men having to fight Sabretooth sabretooth clones. As there is no end to what Sinister will do with Victor Creed’s DNA.

Axo finds a cute plush elephant of Sinister’s, which calms Sinister enough that Axo can force him to nap. Emma compliments Axo, and they are free!

Emma wakes up, which means Sinister wakes up.

in a very classic Claremont Care Bear stare, the united Exceptional X-Men team take down Sinister.

But was it the real Sinister? All we know is that, like the fake Axo clone, or how Dr. Stephanie Burt phased him, Faxo, he explodes in a goo.

But we have no time for that, as Kitty looks over, and sees . . .

LOCKHEED THE DRAGON!!!

. . .

it took ten issues, but we are here!

I keep fondly remembering this fun exchange I had with Carmen Carnero

🤐😉

— Cᴀʀᴍᴇɴ Cᴀʀɴᴇʀᴏ (@CarmenCarnero) April 9, 2024

Way back on April 9, 2025, and a took a while, but her dragon drawing skills are exceptional.

. . .

I can only imagine the only way to top this issue will be if we keep getting more and more Lockheed, but getting him back in monthly comics is all I’ve wanted for so long.

We’re no longer in a Lockheed-less era!

. . .

I do have a concern that Sinister made Sabretooth sabretooth clones, that this could be a Lockheed clone that he created to mess with Kitty Pryde, and all of our emotions, but maybe he was also just keeping him prisoner too?

One of my least favorite villains, and one of my top two favorite characters prisoner.

I’m really hoping that this is the genuine Lockheed, as I don’t want to be hurt again.

. . .

This also explains why we’ve seen him on the covers to Giant Size House of M and Giant Size X-Men 2 as

as Lockheed is back!

I can’t stop smiling 🙂

What a great day this as been, and came at the best time as the school district has decided to shut down the elementary school my wife teaches at, so this comic worked as a perfect distraction when I needed it most.

Marvel August 2025 Solicitations

Posted by John Klein III on May 23, 2025
Posted in: Solicitations. Tagged: 2025, Solicts. Leave a comment

let’s see what we’re getting in August 2025 from Marvel!

https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/solicitations/14498/marvel-comics-august-2025

X-Men of Apocalypse Alpha
Gambit and various other mutants right after X-Men Omega come to 616. Which seems missable to me, unless Magik and/or Kitty are involved.

Marvel All On One 1
Thing vs Marvel, as apparently everyone is doing that these days. All told in splash pages. Could be fun, and I do see some mutants on the two variant covers, but no Kitty nor Magik.

Thor 1, as it is that time of year again. Still by Al Ewing.

Black Cat 1, but not by Jed Mackay, but G. Willow Wilson, so that’s super intersting.

All New Spider-Gwen : Ghost Spider 1, still by Stephanie Phillips. I really liked that issue with Phoenix.

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 2, now covered in the symbiote. Which just kills my buzz. Plus, wouldn’t the instant Godzilla uses his mouth blast, the symbiote get knocked off? No Kitty or Magik on any of the variant covers, and Black Panther, and the Fantastic Four are referenced in the solicit.
I’ll get a copy if my three favorites show up at all.

Venom : Black, White & Blood 1, features a story by JM DeMatteis, set right after Maximum Carnage, so my favorite spider-writer, writing a story around one of my favorite spider-eras.

I don’t have much interest in Imperial. Though Stephanie Phillips writing Imperial War : She-Hulk sounds interesting.

One World Under Doom 6, heroes keep trying to unseat Doom, when all it takes is for him to grow bored.

X-Men : Tooth and Clay, printing the From the Ashes 13 – 18 Infinity Comic. Magik isn’t in any of those issues, so this is a pass for me.

. . .

The first comic I’m buying for August. We’re getting the other exclusive story from the Paragon Collection. Thanks to AIPT Preview pages

https://aiptcomics.com/2025/05/09/wolverine-by-chris-claremont-1/

Kitty Pryde and Lockheed are in this, so I have to get it.

. . .

Marvel Rivals : Hellfire Gala 1, does have Magik on the cover, but like the Funko Rivals Magneto, I sort of don’t want anything to do with the game until I can play it, and me getting a PS5 seems like forever from now.

Jeff The Land Shark 3, features Psylocke and Wolverine (the boy one), so I like that.

Wolverines and Deadpools 2, of 3, vs Shadow King.

Spider-Man and Wolverine 4, the first issue was pretty fun.

. . .

I wish I wasn’t on such a budget, as I would just buy this as Katherine Pryde is part of the Opposition, but does using the organization name mean she is in the issue? Especially as it states Wolverine vs Ultimate Angel? I guess I’m worried about it just being Black Widow like from the incredible fifth issue. I should just buy it, and give it to Walker if she’s on in it. Or maybe Magik will be?

. . .

Ultimate Spider-Man : Incursion 3, Miles meets the Ultimate X-Men, so that should be interesting to see someone else write and draw these characters who isn’t named, Peach Momoko.

Ultimate X-Men 18, the conclusion of volume 3! No idea what volume four could consist of.

. . .

The second comic I’m definitely buying. Interesting that the Jeffrey Brown variant cover isn’t shown, as they revealed it earlier in the week.

I really need to get Jeffrey Brown’s Days of Future Fun, and his Hulk Teaches books. I’m hoping this variant cover isn’t too much, but that’s when eBay will come in for the assist.

I’ll skip on preordering issue 21. Odd X-Men is the title that they are double shipping for months now. Must be because of Magik.

. . .

The third comic I’m definitely buying. I need that Dauterman variant cover! Hopefully it is cover price, and not a $50 cover, which I’ve gotten the Cyclops Dauterman cover for X-Men 16, and that was essentially cover price, so I should be okay.
I do love that Dani is a co star of this title.
Now that we got the Russell Dauterman Magik costume gallery variant, here is hoping we finally get the Kitty Pryde cover!

. . .

Uncanny X-Men 19, Gail Simone writing Outlaw, with Deadpool, yes please!

Storm 11 is still in Thunder Roar mode.

. . .

The fourth comic I’m buying. I don’t love that Kitty Pryde is missing, but at least she’s on the cover. There is a variant cover, but I’ll just commit to the proper one. Maybe she’s looking for Lockheed?

. . .

Laura Kinney : Wolverine 9, Gabby is still in the title, so that’s great! Xarus, son of Dracula also shows up, which is less great.

Phoenix 14, still in the Sara Grey arc.

Psylocke 10, dealing with the Lady in White, with Kwannon’s face! That happens to her sometimes.

. . .

The fifth comic I’m buying. No variant covers, just landing with Alan Davis. The mini that got me using DCBS in the first place, which I’ve been loving. #NotSponsoredButWouldLoveToBe
We will never view Uncanny X-Men 192 the same, but I just checked, and we only see Kitty hugging everyone, so not that drastic. Time will tell.

. . .

Wolverine 12, Mrs. Howlett is back, which is great! So is Sabretooth, which is less great.

Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time 5, of 5, the first two issues were not for me, so I’m not really tracking this anymore.

Deadpool / Wolverine 8, Joshua Cassara is back! We meet new mutant, Legacy.

Emma Frost : The White Queen 3, no covers jump out at me, and I’ll have someone tell me if this is a retro series worth following.

The Thing 4, vs Juggernaut, who is back in his red outfit.

West Coast Avengers 10 is really committing to Ultron.

Hellverine 9, is really committing to Hell Hulk.

. . .

After thinking I missed it last month, Predator Kills the Marvel Universe 1 is out in August. Makes sense to not launch the same month as Godzilla Destroys Marvel. Interesting no variant covers are shown. No Kitty, Lockheed, or Magik, so I’m passing on this for now.
I reread Predator vs Wolverine 4, and I loved when the X-Men showed up, especially Kitty Pryde and Dani Moonstar easily defeating a Predator, so hopefully those two show up in this, and survive, of course.

. . .

Let’s see what I’m committing to :

Wolverine by Claremont 1, either cover
X-Men 20, the Jeffrey Brown variant cover
Magik 8, the Russell Dauterman variant
Exceptional X-Men 12, main cover
Wolverine and Kitty Pryde 5
Ultimate Wolverine 8, either cover

I’ll commit to Ultimate Wolverine 8, six comics, that sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Six comics is usually $30 at DCBS, with bags & boards, and shipping, so should be fine during a tight summer.
