What is wrong with Cyclops’ hand on the cover?

So the idea of these series of one shots is a sort of What If Marvel Comics were still taking place a hundred years from the first issue of the Fantastic Four.  So this comic takes place on January 22, 2061.

I read a review where they state that Kitty only appears on one page, and I wonder which page they read as she is practically the third most seen character of the issue.  Which is pretty awesome!

On the Previous page, we learn there was a Black Hole that was going to destroy New York City.  Cyclops destroyed it and now has been elected President.

There is still racist jerks in America, so he has to deal with those.

Cyclops is tired, it has been a long election.  With Cyclops being president, makes the third mutant to be shown at President.  Both he and Dazzler didn’t get pass inauguration.  Of course, Kitty Pryde was not only President but an awesome one.

At night, Emma tells him that he needs some sleep and she will help him.  Like a good wife, she just pats his head and he goes to sleep.  There are other ways that would have helped to get him to sleep.

Once he goes to sleep, Emma is erased from time and space.

We flashback eight hours, in typical ABC’s Revenge fashion to a private party.

Captain America and Maria Hill are there, and that they have been forgiven by the X-Men.

Scott is walking around without his visor or red sunglasses, but he does have this red mark on the side of his eyes, so I’m not sure if he still needs his glasses but he does wear them throughout the issue, so who knows.

Sebastian Shaw is there, Emma invited him.  He makes a reference to how he isn’t with the Hellfire Club, and that the club is run by Upstarts – which is an awesome reference to the 90s.  Good job, Furth!

We see racist humans outside the White House.  They jump the fence and Cyclops sends out the X-Men.

I do like how aspects of the Battle of the Atom, such as Shogo is in the armor suit, are seen.  .  I also like how the New Xavier School mutants are seen in the future.  For some reason, the Cuckoos are walking around with purple bathrooms, what is that about?

We see Future Kitty Pryde and she has a new costume :

I like how it keeps her basic color scheme.  She sort of has a Maria Hill vibe about her.

Scott starts screaming about how Emma, his wife, is missing but no one knows who she is.  Which is awkward as he references how she is the Cuckoos’ mother, which I hate Phoenix Warsong (just because of that reveal).

Beast tells Scott that he was only married once, and his wife is dead.  Which is awkward as he was married to Maddie, too.

We see that Kitty, not only has the soulsword, but is ready to use it.  I wonder if this is another aspect of Battle of the Atom, in that Magik is dead.

Cyclops gets on a megaphone and tries to calm the silly humans.  Where the Secret Service is, is beyond me.

Someone tries to shoot Cyclops and Kitty choose to try this weird thing of phasing the bullet through her AND try to catch it with her fingers.  The heck?

Of course, that doesn’t work.  At least she didn’t choose to take the bullet and let Colossus become Tsar of Russia, like it happened in Earth X.

Once Cyclops is shot, he loses all types of control on his powers.

Tempus puts a time bubble on the humans.  Footage still leaks of President Summers attacking humans.

Triage tries to heal Scott, it seems to work.

Once in the Presidential Bunker, we learn there is a device called, Professor X’s Lockbox Program.  Kitty tells us about it.  Apparently it is a device that records the genetic and psi imprints of every mutant – and it is time locked so they can confirm Emma did exist.  Not only is she missing but a bunch of other psychics are now gone.

Time starts to deteriorate.

We see that the Phoenix, in Jean’s White Crown form, is rewrting history – just like at the end of Grant Morrison’s Here Comes Tomorrow.

History is rewritten so that Jean and Scott are married.  Which seems pretty petty to me but that’s how the issue ends.  Or begins as it states.  But this story isn’t going to be picked up at all.  In fact, these 100th Anniversary oneshots don’t even reflect each other’s continuity, which is going to make that trade pretty awkward.
