Variant Cover Sanford Greene, the Doom homage, as it had Kitty Pryde on it.
A rare aftermath issue!
I like seeing old Morlock, Ape, hanging out with new Morlock, Deep Fake. We learn more of Deep Fake’s history.
Logan ambushes them. Silver Sable is swimming in the river to continue her exercising.
We meet Tushar, a very young mutant, maybe 12 years old? I like how his mutant power is to restore buildings (from what we can see). I like how his power comes from what he needs right now. Their last base was destroyed, and they come across abandoned cabins, that are far from being able to be repaired easily. But here is a young mutant who can repair cabins very easily, and that’s nice.
Silver Sable and Logan are definitely hooking up. I imagine they have not talked about Nightcrawler at all. Sometimes it feels like I’m the only one who kept Uncanny Spider-Man in my heart.
Tushar was taken by a mutant, Coldbug, who is Hybird levels of gross. He looks like a regular dude, until he takes a knife to his own face, and now has a bug face. How does that work? I rather not know. Logan kills him, and Tushar is saved.
Tactical Soldiers Corp. Croatia. Adamantine arrives, looking for the best there is. Some jerk goon wonders if he’s looking for the best mercenary, and name drops Silver Sable. I don’t love that. I love that she’s so well respected, but don’t answer that question.
So, it looks like Silver Sable is sticking around through the Adamantine arc, so I guess I will be too. I imagine I won’t love it as much as I loved this one, but there will be aspects I like, so that’s all I can really ask for.

I’m really loving this arc! I really like Mehta and the new Vindicator. I know they are the worst, but I love them for it. Plus, they don’t get along with each other, just adding to the enjoyment.
I also really appreciate Mehta finding a way to weaken Logan. She has a gadget that can give him heart attacks.
Vindicator is about to give the old Morlocks, Erg & Ape, enhanced interrogations, when Alpha Flight shows up to stop her. They were supposed to watching Silver Sable, who escapes, as she’s no longer being watched. The new Morlocks, Chowdown & Deepfake, rescue Logan, using the skills he taught them.
I like that Silver Sable gets a win over Vindicator, so they’re 1-1 now. Sable was caught off guard, but now has time to notice Vindicator protecting her right leg, where her shield is the weakest at. I guess every shield needs to have a weak point? For some reason?
Issue ends with the return of fan favorite, Adamantine, so I guess I’m not going to enjoy the Hercules arc as much? Silver Sable is sticking around for another issue, so maybe we’re still in for a good time?
Adamantine is in an arena of sorts, and there is a reference to Romulus, who will be featured in an upcoming Cerebro episode. I’ve checked the Travis Starnes list, and I don’t own issue comic where Romulus appears in, nor is there any on my wishlist.

All I really want from a solo Logan title is to be a team up book with characters I enjoy, and I’m a sucker for Silver Sable, that’s the 90s Spider-Man fan in me. I would had loved an Uncanny Spider-Man reference, as we must NOT forget Uncanny Spider-Man. I just learned last week that Funko made an Uncanny Spider-Man Pop, and I think about it every day. Silver Sable is a lady who stays on task, and I don’t see her asking Logan about Kurt. Though, that would have been fun.
I kept noticing Jesus Aburtov’s coloring this issue, and really liking it. Really highlights Martin Coccolo’s art.
Logan runs out of gas, and comes across a not so abandoned town. Two mutants, and I love so much that they took the time to give themselves code names, that’s just so cute.
They do a decent job of alerting Logan that they are there, but it is Silver Sable who gives him pause. She tranqs him, giving him a bit of a buzz.

Her “are you high?” panel is a delight.
Some military goons show up, and I like how they had a mission statement to just show up, make sure no one was too dangerous, and leave, but then Logan showed up, spanked them, and now it is a whole thing.
Metha, who is in charge of some Department H division, is done with Logan’s nonsense, and calls in Alpha Flight, as the issue ends. We get a classic line up of Vindicator, Puck, Snowbird, and maybe Mera, a green lady with big ol bat wings.
Such a good issue!
