We lost Francis Tsai on this day, last year. Sadly, I only own two comics that had his artwork within it.
Even worst, his art was part of a smaller profile, and his was stuck in a corner of a proper costume shot.
Other profiles of note –
MC2’s American Dream, who I really liked
Black Fox, who I know from Spider-Man comics
Empath, with art by Gus Vazquez (who is the main artist for this issue – which I like that continuity) with Jim Muniz & Mary Wilshire. Kitty is referenced in this spotlight and that’s why I kept this issue.
Probably why I couldn’t find that main image nor the Colonel America image.
Shi’ar’s very own, Gladiator
Gog, who I know from his very brief stint with the Sinister Six
The great dimension of K’un-Lun, gets four pages
Thor’s great villain, Midgard Serpent
Nimrod, with art by John Romita Jr. Kitty is also referenced in its entry.
Howling Commando’s Pinky Pinkerton
Sunspot’s evil twist, Reignfire gets a page
Marauder Scalphunter gets a spotlight but Kitty isn’t referenced in it. Harpoon’s would mention her, I imagine.
Lyra got one, under the name of She-Hulk
Spider-Man foe from the Clone Saga, Judas Traveller
The Skrull Queen and orchestrator of Secret Invasion, Veranke
Fantastic Four old ally, Wyatt Wingfoot
New X-Men member, Wolf Cub, gets a quarter page spotlight
