Big Brother 17 – Thursday – August 13, 2015

Posted by John Klein III on August 16, 2015
Posted in: Reality Television. Tagged: BB17, Big Brother. Leave a comment

Who goes home, Shelli or Vanessa?  Also, Double Eviction?  Will we break the streak of disappointing double evictions?  It use to be, it was the nice to get a big gun out of the house, now it just seems to be floaters.

Episode 23!

For those keeping track, we are now on Season Five, Episode 15.  Chenbot says “But First” so often!  The cast is starting to grow on me.  Fun to watch the original twin twist and the beginnings of PoV, as they started the six players – but the three players get to hand pick their partners, instead of leaving it up to chance.

Day 54!

Becky really wants Vanessa out of the house.  Vanessa starts to game, she really doesn’t understand what is happening around her.

I just love James’ running gag of scaring people.  Keeps people on their toes and breaks up his day.

Vanessa gets into James’ head and he starts wanting to not work with Becky, which is all Vanessa needs to stay in the house.

Since we are 17 seasons in, the houseguests just wait for double eviction night.  Though the trend hasn’t started yet in Retro Big Brothers.  Julie mentions, again, that a juror may return to the game.  I thought with the twin (Julia) joining the house, Production wouldn’t need to do a bonus week.

Speeches.  Shelli wastes a bunch of time to give shout outs to Jason (whose birthday was Thursday) and Clay.  Vanessa keeps it about game.

The Vote –

Austin (Judas) – Shelli
Steve – Shelli
James – Shelli
Meg – Shelli
Jackie – Shelli
It is official, Shelli is the first Jury member
Julia – Shelli
John – Shelli (John has a fun exchange.  What do you want?  Yeah, whatever – so fun!)
Liz – Shelli

Everyone is dressed like it is a quiz.  No clown shoes repeat.

Something I’ve learn, is that Julie Chen loves to ask questions about Showmances.  Shelli thinks Steve and John are her boyz, that makes me think more of her.

The houseguests saw several loops (gifs) which will be important, for the challenge.

HoH comp – True or False questions

Question One – Everyone got it right
Question Two – James / Liz / Meg / Jackie are out
Question Three – Everyone got it right (Austin / Steve / Julia / John / Vanessa)
Question Four – Julia and Vanessa are out
Question Five – Everyone got it right (Austin / Steve / John)
Question Six – Austin and John get it wrong – Steve is HoH!  Shame, we don’t get to see his HoH room.

Who will Steve nominate?  He has a commercial break to figure it out!  One has to be Becky, for sure.

Nominations – Meg and Jackie, the heck!?!   Is he hoping to back door Becky?  hmmmm

Julia looks good in that blue dress.

PoV (this when clown shoes happen and Jeff got out).  Brendan was the other last big gun taken out in Double Eviction night.  I’m not really sure who would be considered a big gun, this season.  Either Vanessa or James, I guess.

Random Draw – Players are – Vanessa / Meg / James / John / Steve / Jackie

They have three minutes to play, if no winner, whoever has the most balls.

John wins!  I imagine he uses it, if Steve wants him too.

John doesn’t use the Veto!  oh man, this does feel like a waste.

Steve is sort of freaking out, so I guess Steve didn’t ask John to use the Veto (or he did and John chose to go against him).  Which makes sense as John is working close with Becky.

Becky is crying, as she knows she was the target.

I do feel bad, as usually, the second person who goes home, isn’t the other nominated houseguest, so their bags are not packed.

The Vote –

Vanessa – Jackie
Becky – Meg
John – Jackie
Austin – Jackie
James – Jackie
It is official, Jackie is gone
Liz – Jackie
Julia – Jackie

Jackie is gone, they don’t typically show a hint of HoH.  Steve looks super disappointed, he wasted his HoH.  That’s why you never backdoor, but put up your targets.

By now, this is old news but Liz becomes HoH.

Decent episode.

. . .

Assuming this is Jackie’s last chance in the game, here are some pictures that I’ve been holding back –

BB17 Jackie gray top

BB17 Jackie purple bikini

BB17 Jackie red bikini

Robot News : Robot Kills Worker at Volkswagen Plant

http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2015-07/02/robot-kills-man-at-volkswagen-factory

Since I’m all about making sure people know the real hazards of allowing robots to exist, I’m going to start tracking all of the robot stories.

I recall there was a story from a few years ago, at Carnegie Mellon University (the worst school, ever!) where some guy made like a scorpion shaped robot, and the pincer cut a second person and that was when first blood was drawn!  But I haven’t been able to find that story.  CMU (the leading university in robotics) has been smart enough to build robots that actually are suppose to draw blood, so the original story has been pushed off of the first twenty pages of Google.  Well played, CMU, well played.

Anyone recall that original story?  I was still in Arizona, so it had to be prior to 2009.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the 22 year old man’s family.

Cover Artist Barry Windsor-Smith

Marvel’s 25th Anniversary Frame Cover!  Which also means it is the Fantastic Four’s 25th Anniversary, hence all of the artists for this issue.

Thing is pretty down this issue.  He goes to where the team crashed landed in their first appearance, in Stockton.  Surprisingly, there is no monument, plaque or even a museum there.  People can just walk right to the spot and see the skid mark in the grass that the spaceship landed.

I like how the feature villain is Mole Man, who is, of course, their first villain that they encountered.  So it is his 25th birthday as well.  Which is pretty cool, poor guy gets sidelined so often and isn’t that well remembered.  From what I can gathered.  After a few Google searches, I can’t even find that many websites that even bother to try to list their greatest villains.  He seems to be in the Top Five, so that’s nice.  Of course, Doctor Doom is first and he doesn’t even appear in this issue, so that’s the last we will reference him.

She-Hulk and Scott Lang are paling around with the Fantastic Four.

Thing is tired of being a monster and gets an old guy to take him to Monster Island, where he will become the best friend of Mole Man.

Thing gets dressed in a purple onesie and wears the Mole Man’s blue glasses.  Thing gives the team a tour of the island.  Reed doesn’t like the idea of Mole Man’s new machine, it can ruin the world.

Johnny’s face gets pretty messed up, so he can know what it feels like to be a monster.  He doesn’t like it.

I like the subplot of Mole Man’s Danger Room that he uses to just have a fancy party with pretty people, even though they are all holograms.

Thing rejoins the team, Johnny face hits some water, and his face is fixed.  Issue ends with the classic Fantastic Four all hands in, which is nice.

Big Brother 17 – Wednesday – August 7, 2015

Who wins POV?  Will they use it?  Let’s Get Excited!

Episode 22, BB Comics comes back!  That gets me pretty excited.  I doubt I will recognize any of the names but here is hoping there are a few websites that have the artists available.

I adore Steve talking to the Live Feeders!

Vanessa feels like she may be a target, this week.

Jackie ends her service in the Big Brotherhood, and stripes off her armor!  James can’t handle himself.

Shelli is concern about what happens if she chooses “Houseguest Choice” as it would make sense if she choose Vanessa, but no one wants her to play and risk her being safe.  John says she can choose him.  John goes and tells Steve the plan of Vanessa.  Steve is torn, as he wants to tell Vanessa but he knows that isn’t smart.  John says that Steve can choose him.

Liz is starting to have feelings for Austin, he is breaking her down.  Julia is disgusted by it, as am I!

Veto Players!

Becky – Austin
Shelli – Houseguest Choice – Vanessa
Steve – Meg

Not the greatest grouping of players.

John is the host.

BB Comics!  YAY!

The comics are –

John is Dr. Drill
Shelli is the Puma
Steve is The Engineer
Jackie is The Super ShowGirl
James is Super Camo
Austin is Austin the Barbarian
Liz is the Bikini Bandit
Vanessa is the Mad Hatter
Meg is the Big Apple
Julia is the South Beach Savior
Becky is the Trianiac
Audrey is The Blanket
Clay is Mister Perfection
La’Vonne is Momma Day
Jace is The Bro
Jason is Mylantor
Jeff is The Salesman

So happy to see this comp back!

Everyone seems to be pretty cool with their own covers.  Shelli is ten years older than Clay.

The order (shown at least) was –

Meg – Becky – Shelli – Austin – Steve – Vanessa

I have already forgotten about Jeff, Da’Vonne and Jace.

Their shirts say “I Heart BB Comics” me too!

The BB Comic logo is a homage to the old school DC logo, that I sort of miss.

Meg – 15:37
Becky – 17:02
Shelli – 25:31
Austin – 21:20
Steve – 13:57
Vanessa – 21:44

Steve wins!  Awesome!

Audrey’s should have been titled, The Wet Blanket!

I feel like they haven’t shown the comic book bedroom, in a while, as it looks completely different.

It could be more of a comic book room –

This years Big Brother house is bigger than ever with an additional 155 square ft. of living space. Houseguests will enjoy a modern "steel" beach house where the downstairs depicts the sea and the upstairs is all about the sky. BIG BROTHER airs its two-night premiere on Wednesday, June 24 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and June 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Photo: Sonja Flemming/CBS ©2015 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved

Vanessa is grilling James, about what the plan is.  James doesn’t handle it well

Vanessa confronts Becky, about what her replacement nominee is.  Vanessa breaks down that it has to be her or John, and John is a closer friend of Becky’s.

Vanessa ruins Jackie, Meg, Austin (for some reason) and James’ good time by barging into the room they are in and reconfirms that her deal with them is still good.  Of course it is, they say.  She leaves and they all laugh.  Becky is growing tired of Vanessa’s paranoid feelings.  Except that they are justified feelings.

Steve goes through the motions of ‘debating’ if he will use the Veto.  He will, as he isn’t an idiot.

Becky nominates . . . VANESSA!!!   Do not miss Thursday’s episode, there will be so many fights!  Becky gets real with Vanessa, so she knows she is the target.

Double Eviction!  Now we really can’t miss it!  Those are the best!

. . .

I like how these comics are cover priced $2.99, it would be more believable if they went $3.99.

Thanks to this website for having the covers!

Last Hero Standing in Big Brother 17 Comics

BB17 Comics Becky Trainiac BB17 Comics Jackie Super ShowGirl

BB17 Comics Julia South Beach Savior BB17 Comics Liz Bikini Bandit

BB17 Comics Shelli Puma

Entertainment Weekly states the cover artists are –

Michael Borowski, Henry Hsing-Kuei Liao, Stephen Schaffer, Andy Smith, and Brad Vancata

I can’t find out which artists have done which covers, yet.

I do like how Liz and Julia’s are a combined hero.  Liz is the evil twin!

This website –

has the covers in higher quality.

Velvet Revolver – Come On Come In

Posted by John Klein III on August 12, 2015
Posted in: Fun With YouTube, Songs, Websites. Tagged: Music, YouTube. 4 Comments

Post 775!

Thanks to YouTuber Stardust for hosting the video.

I thought there were three songs from the first Fantastic Four soundtrack.  I recall the film having a decent soundtrack (we played it quite often at Hastings).

Velvet Revolver was Slash’s other big band.  I’ve always been a huge fan of Slash, especially when he was on Conan O’Brien.

He did a Secrets segment on Conan that was so funny!   I can’t find his solo one but here is a video with one of his –

Thanks to YouTuber HyperTransience for hosting the video!

I wish the Axl Rose is a sexual anagram, had made the cut.

Nice, I found a website that has all of Slash’s secrets –

http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Music-General/Slash-s-Secrets/td-p/280306

SLASH SECRETS
“I got into rock-and-roll because I wanted the chicks. The Dixie Chicks.”

“I got the name Slash because I used to work in a grocery store and I was in charge of reducing prices for really big sales.”

“One time we played a concert in Antwerp, Belgium. At least I thought it was Antwerp, Belgium. Turns out it was a Stop ‘n Shop in Wisconsin somewhere, but it was fun man.”

“If I ever go bald, I’ll kill myself.”

“The original name for Guns ‘n Roses was Roses ‘n Guns, but that just sounded stupid.”

“I once asked Axl why he left the ‘E’ off his name. He started crying and said he thought he’d spelled it right.”

“Almost every night I have a dream where one of my pet snakes eats all those boys in Hanson.”

“Someone once asked me what I liked better-kittens or puppies. And I said “‘It’s a tie man.’ They said- ‘Too close to call?’ I said, ‘No, man, too cute to call.'”

“My original nickname was ‘Splash’ because I loved that movie so much.”

“I guess you could say there are two Slashes. There’s the crazy, rock-and-roll Slash, he’s wild. And then there’s the real Slash- he collects miniature soaps and treats his hookers real nice.”

“An anagram of Axl Rose is oral sex. Why do I know? Because when I’m not playing music I love solving erotic jumbles.”

“Originally, I wanted to call the band ‘Guns ‘n Robots.’ I still believe that if we had just called ourselves ‘Guns ‘n Robots’ we’d still be together.”

Thanks for compiling these, ReddDragon!

One sad note, with the Secrets, was back in the Joe Quesada Message Board days, we were talking about our favorite Secrets, and the very next day, John Ritter died.  He had such a great segment!

Thanks to Mrsilenciobackgammon for hosting the video!

The other music video released for the Fantastic Four soundtrack was –

Everything Burns, by Anastacia featuring Bed Moody

Thanks to markjohn1987 for hosting this video!

Though this song seems to have inspired –

Ellie Goulding’s Burn Burn Burn

Thanks to YouTuber EllieGouldingVEVO for hosting her own video.

It is like the exactly same song!

I do like how the music videos do make it seem like the first Fantastic Four film, was going to be pretty good.

Sort of like how Seal’s Kiss from a Rose, makes Batman Forever look like a good film

Thanks to IntheBeginning for hosting the video.

These films really do benefit from being condensed to three minute commercials with a pop song.

Big Brother 17 – Sunday – August, 9, 2015

Posted by John Klein III on August 11, 2015
Posted in: Reality Television. Tagged: BB17, Big Brother. Leave a comment

Who becomes HoH?  It is Becky!  Who will she nominate?  And apparently there was a fight, right before the eviction.

Sorry this didn’t go up, yesterday morning.  Sunday night got a tad intense over here.  The Live Feeds have been blowing up, so a bunch of this episode and tomorrow’s episode, has been spoiled for me.

Steve hints, again, at his feud with Becky, what is this about!

I know Austin is being super cheesy but I need him to cool down, around Liz.

5 Hours Before Eviction.  Johnny Mac states that he went from floater to major target.  I didn’t even know that he was involved.  I saw that Clay was on Twitter, and answering questions.  I also saw that he blocked Jun Song, Big Brother 4 winner, apparently she gets blocked from several Big Brother houseguests.

Right now, in Retro Big Brother, we are on episode six of Big Brother 5, so fun to see how these Twins differ from our current Twins.  One of them, has serious identity issues.

Vanessa confronts James, he doesn’t have a problem with her but she keeps freaking out.

Clay is telling people that James wants Vanessa out, they essentially just keep saying ‘shut up’ to each other.  I do like how Clay stands up, to talk to James.  Vanessa gets in Clay’s face, about throwing Vanessa’s name around.  I do like how Clay, is done with this conversation.  He knows he is going home in five hours, leave him alone.  Vanessa starts crying and is so confused.  John tells her that he made his own assumptions as did Clay but Vanessa doesn’t accept these reasons.

Becky wins all three prizes!  Never a Have Not, $5,000 and HoH!

Becky has some surprises for her nominations.  Steve is worried about being nominated as is Shelly.

Shelly is missing Clay, which makes sense.

What is Julia’s accent?  She really stresses the end of her sentences, something that Liz doesn’t do.

John and Steve are chatting!  John thinks Becky is hot.

If there is whispering, Production has to put subtitles on the screen.

Steve is close to Vanessa and John, that’s great news!

Becky’s HoH room is shown, still odd to me that James’ room wasn’t shown, as he had to share his first one, with Jason.  Everyone comments on how big Becky’s boobs are in a picture with her dog.  Her food basket is nothing but health food.

Shelli and Vanessa wold like Steve to be nominated, as he is still an oustsider.  I imagine Steve is going to own the show, once there is only eight folks around.

Becky wants to backdoor Vanessa, but she wants her side of the house to keep it a super duper secret.

Steve is in the food room, and he spends a lot of his time alone, in the house.  He dances and talks aloud, I feel like that’s how I would be in the house.  I would be a mix of Steve and John.  Production has to tell Steve to not trying to break the bottles, or to stop trying to balance the bottles.  As he is going to break them.  That Steve, keeps being given a segment, every other episode.  Good on Production!

Vanessa talks to Becky and Becky lies to Vanessa, or rather, gives her the cover story.  Shelli and Steve are going up.

#BasicBecky she doesn’t want to work with alliances, Vanessa acts pretty surprise – she doesn’t see it as that Becky just doesn’t want to work with Vanessa.

John and Becky are celebrating!  Kiss some more!  They don’t.  Becky tells John the entire real plan, he is suppose to keep it a secret, he loves the plan.

Nominations!  Shelli and Steve!  But don’t worry folks!  Do not miss tomorrow’s episode, I bet Production has enough footage to make both Wednesday and Thursday episodes pretty grand.  Becky wants Steve to get his hands dirty and start playing the game.

. . .

Here is the picture of Becky and her dog –

BB17 Becky Dog good quality picture

So glad I finally found a good quality version of it.

Big Brother 17 – Thursday – August 6, 2015

Posted by John Klein III on August 9, 2015
Posted in: Reality Television. Tagged: BB17, Big Brother. Leave a comment

The CBS All Access description has Episode 20 being – Will it be Clay or Shelli leaving the Big Brother HOuse?  Plus, the Hitmen are back!

It took a while for me to remember the Hitmen were Derrick and Cody.  We’re at episode 28 of Season Four and I’m surprised by how often they checked in with old houesguests.  That isn’t really something they do anymore, except as hosts for a competition.

Typing as such,k they really got away from the BBTakeover, didn’t they?  Did they have more people lined up or were they hoping for more inspiration?

Another thing about the older seasons, Julie Chen did say “Bug First” so much!  Once, it was three times in an episode!

Oh, my wife saw the previous Big Brother post and was not a fan of the pictures of Julia, so I’m going to have not posting any, for a bit.

oh Julie Chen, the hunters have become the hunted – do her writer love making her say such things?

I sort of like Julie Chen with glasses.

But First!

Veto Ceremony was Day 47.

Shelli is the target, but I imagine Clay convinces everyone to vote him out.  We heard that the HoH comp was an endurance comp, so we were able to watch the hour and a half (maybe two hours) comp.  Of course, dear reader, you already know that Shelli stays, but Becky wins the HoH, and by a lot!

The Sixth Sense alliance may be way over, before the votes are counted.

Calling the Hitmen the power couple of last season, is giving Cody a lot of credit.

I like that they worked Da’vonne into the BBSoundOff, she’s decent in small doses

I do like how the house has given Clay and Shelli, plenty of space.  Is that really their first kiss?  What has he been waiting for?

The rest of the house seems to be in the HoH room.

I like Jackie playing up being a Knight, in DR

Who cares if the house is reunited, let people vote the way that they want!

Derek, I do forget about him, but he really was one of the best players that game has ever produced.  His daughter knowing Cody’s name, makes me think that the two guys have become close friends.  I recall an interview of Derek’s that said that he was going to make Cody’s Christmas amazing.

Derrick, is how he spells it.  Their families are super close!  They see each other, once a month!  That’s intense!  Cody has done some modeling.  Good for him.  Derrick is clearly one of the better winners.  Holla!

Speeches!  Clay, some shoutouts.  The houseguests are dressed for a physical challenge.  Clay doesn’t want to stay in the house.  Shelli cries during her shoutouts.  I really don’t see them lasting as a couple.

The Votes!

Vanessa – Clay
Meg – Clay
Austin – Clay
Jackie (keeping the Knight helmet on, and cape) – Clay
Commercial Break
Liz – Clay
With five votes, Clay is out
Julia – Clay
Steve, he paws at Julia, who also paws at him, so sweat – Clay
Becky – Clay
John – Clay – people love him, as they should!  We can hear the audience snickering

The house gives Shelli and Clay a private moment, which is nice.  Poor Showmance peeps, Chen only cares about the one thing, but shame on the houseguest for being so one noted, as well!

John’s message is so awesome, Clay and John were a cute couple!  Oh Meg, she’s coming for Clay, if Shellie doesn’t keep up her end.

Chenbot remembers to ask Clay about Drunk Meg.  There was no real attraction there.  Clay goes too far with him claiming that Meg is going around the house, trying to get a showmance going.  Shame on you, Clay!  Now you don’t get Shellie or Meg!  You dummy!

HoH comp!  It is that one where they slide down to  the bucket, to pour whatever (oil, this time), to grab the ball and win.

Everyone is slated for the jury house!  Julie Chen implies that a jury member will come back into the game.

The prizes are – HoH, $5,000 and Never Be A Have Not.  But a smart houeguest can choose to grab the first two prizes and then the HoH but if they are dumb, and choose HoH first, then the game is over.  Don’t worry, Becky isn’t a dummy and does it the right way.

Apparently, even if they don’t make the edit episodes, they have been doing Have Nots and such, which is another reason to do away with the Battle of the Block, as it takes too much time.

Not a bad episode, I’ll be curious how Becky’s week goes but I am not expecting many upsets.

Does anyone know of any Big Brother websites that are tracking the competitions, such as, which ones are repeated and the winners of those?  My wife and I were thinking if a man has ever won this style of competition, as we recalled three women, who have.

Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe - Fantastic Four 2005

Head Writer / Coordinator Jeff Christiansen

Writers Sean McQuaid, Anthony Flamini, Michael Hoskin, Bill Lentz, Ronald Byrd, Mark O’English & Stuart Vandal

Cover Dated 2005 (hence the title!)

Cover Artists Tom Grummett & Morry Hollowell

I own this for the references to Kitty Pryde in the Franklin Richards profile.

Doctor Doom’s profile doesn’t even mention the time he help save Kitty Pryde from becoming a complete ghost.

I do like how every individual member gets a profile, even though it just repeats most of the information from the team profile but from their respected perspectives.

Franklin Richards, Kitty is referenced in the Thanksgiving Power Pack story.

I can’t believe these two images were not anywhere on the Internet, I have to make the Internet have what I want from it.

I really like how these Handbooks from this era have a bonus section with important issues.

Franklin Richards

First Appearance : Fantastic Four Annual 6

Significant Issues : Named (Fantastic Four 94); rendered comatose (Fantastic Four 140 & 141); opposed Scratch, Salem’s Seven (Fantastic Four Annual 14); met Brain Parasites & created Ego-Spawn (Fantastic Four 227 & 228); briefly became Avatar (Fantastic Four 245); joined Power Pack, become Tattletale (Power Pack 15, 16 & 17); future self appeared (Fantastic Four Annual 23, X-Factor Annual 2, New Mutants Annual 6, Uncanny X-Men 14); became Psi-Lord (Fantastic Four 375, 376 & 377); organized Fantastic Force (Fantastic Force 1); restored to childhood (Fantastic Four 413 & 414); opposed Onslaught, parents lost (Onslaught : X-Men 1, Onslaught : Marvel Universe); accepted death of family (Daydreamers 1, 2 & 3); restoration of family (Heroes Reborn 1 – 4); met Puppy (Fantastic Four (Fantastic Four V3 9); restored sister Valeria, lost powers (Fantastic Four V3 49); dealt with Hell trauma (Fantastic Four 501 & 502)

. . .

So the film has come out, to mostly negative or luke warm reviews.  The director is telling everyone, that will listen, that FOX stepped in and changed the film drastically.  Will there be a Director’s Cut of teh film?  I sure hope so!  Though, why the studio would agree to release a much superior film, a cut from the director who has been insulting to the studio, is beyond me.  I would like it, just to see all of the filmed scenes.

Fantastic Four 236

Fantastic Four 236

Cover Dated November 1981

Cover by John Byrne and Terry Austin

The Fantastic Four 20th Anniversary (and Marvel’s!)

I own this just for the cover, pretty cool how Kitty Pryde made it but Byrne wouldn’t leave his greatest co-creation absent such an historic event!

Typing about historic, this is the extremely famous, Fantastic Four “Terror in a Tiny Town” story which is just awesome!  Doom has shrunk the FF and they figure it out but the way they do and the way they escape is such classic!  No wonder it has been reprinted as often as it has!

This is one of those comics that I can’t believe I own.

This would make a good plot to a FF movie.  Couldn’t be the first one but it could work as a third.

Part One

Issue opens with a flashback / dream sequence of the Fantastic Four’s fateful original space trip.  Johnny wakes up from a recurring dream.  The Fantastic Four are just regular folks in a small town.  Ben isn’t the thing, he is married to Alicia and Puppet Master is happy for his daughter and son-in-law.  The entire team is having these dreams.

I like the idea, without their powers, that Reed and Sue are in the throes of an awesome marriage.  Franklin is their son in this land.

Reed isn’t very good at his job as a researcher / professor.  Professor Vaughn is constantly on his case and undermining him.  Reed suspects the dreams mean something, so he cuts himself pretty deeply.  He gathers his family together and tells them that they are living fake lives.  They confront Puppet Master, he reveals that there is a ruse but it is worst than they know.  Just then, a voice bellows from above.  A giant Doctor Doom is watching over them.

Part Two

Doom has the team, plus Alicia and Franklin hooked up to machines that surround Liddleville (get it?).  Doom’s main plan is to just let the team live the rest of their days in miniature bodies.

Reed is creating a plan of action.  Poor Ben, he has everything he ever will want right here.

Reed created a machine that will zap them with cosmic rays.  Ben volunteers to go first.  It works and now he is a little Thing.  They all get their powers back and start fighting little Doombots.  Once they are free of Liddleville, they try to break the machine.  Sue saucers off to find Doom, who is playing the piano like a pimp.  Sue sees Doom’s unmasked face.  Doom heads over to Liddleville and tries to blast the Fantastic Four, he overloads the machine and the heroes are free and back in their bodies.

When Doom zapped Liddleville, he created a loop and is now stuck in the puppet Vaughn body, that he was using to mess with Reed.

There is a Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back-up story.

There is a Hostess Fruit Pie ad with the Hulk vs Phoomie Goonies.

If you ever wonder, What If Ben stayed in Liddleville, What If? 109 is the issue for you.
