Ben Affleck to co-write (with Geoff Johns), direct and – naturally – star in the next solo Batman film, which would come out before the first Justice League film. Which I’m all for, and I can only imagine, was discussed prior to him signing his original contract.
Halle Berry would jump at another chance to be Storm. Which I wouldn’t mind a solo Storm film, as long as it was both good and maybe featured another mutant character, maybe a best friend type of character that was younger than her. perhaps.
The Ninja Turtles are coming to Gotham! The Ninja Turtles / Ghostbusters crossover was pretty great. The 80s Ghostbusters / today’s Ghostbusters crossover was also pretty great.

I’m not a fan of the Newsarama does their coverage, it just doesn’t load right for me.
Not much revealed at the Cup of Joe panel. I did learn that Hank Pym merged with Ultron, so that’s something. The All New All Different Avengers are suppose to have the feel of Claremont / Byrne / Austin X-Men, lots of character interactions and epic adventures. Time will tell. There will be an Avengers Zero issue that should set up that line.

I didn’t even know that Jeremy Irons was going to be in this AND he’s Alfred, that’s pretty awesome. Amy Adams, being in this, makes sense but it felt new too. I couldn’t make out the “red capes are coming” until I turned the volume way up. Krytonite, is in there. Bruce Wayne being in Metropolis during the conclusion of Man of Steel, is interesting. I like seeing Wonder Woman in this. Was that a scene set in the Middle East? This film does feel epic. Oh and Ma Kent’s “be their angel” but also “don’t feel the need to do anything, you don’t owe them anything” reminds me of Pa Kent’s “maybe” you should have let those kids die.
Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness are coming back to Deadpool! oh, and they are bringing Spider-Man along. I like how Newsarama says that Kelly had a ‘memorable’ run with the character, as oppose to LEGENDARY run with the character!
There is a new title, Spidey, that deals with a teenage Spider-Man – so yet another all ages Spider-Man title that will possibly last twelve issues. Spider-Man 2099 is getting a new costume, which the original is so classic but we shall give it a chance.

Not much was revealed in these panels, but we figured that at the offset. I didn’t know that Marguerite Bennett was wring A-Force and Years of Future Past, so this makes me want to read A-Force as I’m loving the latter series.
So that is everything that I saw of SDCC 2015. Maybe one day, I can go back to one again.

Dead of night at Xavier’s School for the Gifted. Warlock is watching ten television sets.
Apparently, he is watching it very loudly as the rest of the team is woken up. It is always interesting to see what the heroes wear to bed. Illyana is the only one in what could be a sexy outfit, which makes sense.
Warlock is upset that he has angered his friends. Illyana just wants Warlock to get some life experience from the real world and not from televisions.
Warlock doesn’t understand what real life is. People think Illyana is going too far but it had to be said.
Wolfsbane tells Warlock that New York City is pretty real. So he takes off for the big apple.
Spider-Man, in his black costume, is swinging across the city. He comes across some small animals on the street. The poor little critters have pieces of cybernetics sticking out of them. Spider-Man enters the laboratory the animals are coming out of. The Animal Liberation Front are the ones releasing the creatures. Spider-Man knows it isn’t right but sticking machinery into little animals, isn’t right either.
Warlock has taken the form of David Letterman and attracting lots of attention, so he changes to another person.
Spider-Man has a ASPCA Representative tell him that the lab has to be shut down. The wires sticking out of the animals are hurting them in a way. Warlock sees Spider-Man and goes into a toy store. People think he is a toy and he makes friend with a scientist. He takes him home, where we learn that his wife is also a scientist. Warlock gives up a piece of his skin for examination purposes. Something happens and Warlock gets supercharged by energy.
Spider-Man is still swinging around. He hears giant steps and swings around a corner. Godlock, Warlock as Godzilla, is stomping around, holding the lady doctor. Spider-Man tries to move Warlock in a safer direction.
There is a subplot dealing with the business of Peter having to set up his camera to take pictures.
Warlock’s main personality is slowly coming through. Then he turns into King Kong. So naturally, he starts climbing a building. King Konglock. That isn’t clever at all.
Warlock turns into a rocket and blasts himself off into the sky. It was the only way to get rid of all that excess energy. Don’t worry, Warlock comes back to the ground as a giant black puddle of goo. He’s okay.
That night, the New Mutants welcome Warlock back to the mansion. Warlock has decided to turn into a human shape and will attempt to dream, which is what caused all of this in the first place. He wants to dream and New York City is where dreams come true.
Not a a bad issue. It feels more like an extra length Marvel Team-Up with Warlock issue.

What I’m most proud of, and you have already seen it before you saw this, is the new theme! We went from the retired Vostok to Parament, and I couldn’t be happier! There may be some slight edits as the transition moves but I’ve been really wanting a right side bar for the longest time. After one of the nice WordPress team members assured me that I wouldn’t lose all of my information or weird formatting issues wouldn’t happened, I’ve been just waiting for this day to bring the new site online.
At first, I didn’t care for the Orange aspects, but it is growing on me.

Come back tomorrow for the beginning of our . . . Ant-Man Celebration!!! It isn’t that many posts, so calling it an Event Month, doesn’t feel right.
After wondering if scans_daily (a great website! – that apparently isn’t just one person posting all the time) had a rule against posting images upon images from individual comics, I finally stumbled onto their official rule. Which wasn’t super easy to find but it gave me the answer I was looking for.
Apparently they got threaten and instead of being fine or shut down, they were given the opportunity to change their ways and they created a new policy.
The rule is that no more than 1/3 of a story or chapter can be posted on the comm, excepting free, orphaned, public domain, web-published stories, and stories that are 1-2 pages in length.
In order to keep my own nose clean, we here at S&FwM are going to try to abide by that same rule.
X-Men Supreme seems to be okay with nine image posts, and I had already thought that seven pages was good enough but officially, a 21 page comic, a third would be seven so I think as long as I stick with the 7 – 9 images, we should be okay.
Of course, S&FwM is nowhere near as popular as those websites – one day I hope to be counted amongst them in terms of greatness – I still think it is a better idea to have some sort of rule than to just be going forward as a rogue blogger.
I don’t really read too many comic blogs, besides the two referenced above, I have those two blogs and then I mostly follow official comic book websites like Newsarama, Goods Should Be Good (which I suppose is a blogsite under the umbrella of an offiical website, Comic Book Resources) and of course, uncannyxmen.net – which is mostly an astonishing fan site.
On fun note, for anyone keeping track of which countries we’re still waiting for a tenth visitor from (I haven’t ran these numbers in quite some time!) those countries are –
Taiwan and Brunei, so if you know anyone, or you are those two people, please come back one more time!
I hope those two websites don’t mind that I’m going to co-opt their rules (and maybe unofficial stance, in terms, of X-Men Supreme). I’ve been thinking that I’ve gotten carried away with how many images I’ve shown, so I have kept going back to wondering what the rules are out there. Plus, I don’t want to make any comic creators or Marvel slash Disney, mad at me – as I definitely can’t go up against them in court. So instead of waiting for a hammer to come down, I rather be proactive.
Though I’ve seen some websites that don’t even do images, House to Astonish probably being the best one, and I admire how they don’t waste time with reviews but their reviews seem to be two or three quick paragraphs and they are done. Which I like but I like seeing images to go along with the text, so I’m sticking with being an image heavy website. I’m still at my 43% of my media that WordPress is allowing me to have – so I’m not worried about how many images I have just yet.
Now that I think of it, TMNT Entity has images, and just looking at his latest three pages, it seems like he has a rule of sticking with only three images per post.
That’s what I’ve been mainly thinking about, that I need to set a limit and I think I’m good with seven to nine. I will aim for seven but if it takes two more, I will go with that.
I may have one or two reviews of my 365 drafts (I got a lot in the pipeline, ya’ll!) may have more images but going forward, I will set a limit on myself.
I just mainly wanted to get these thoughts out of my head. I also hope those three websites don’t mind that I’ve included them in my Favorite Websites link roll.

I just Googled, “Shadowcat Blog” and got 22 pages of posts but none are ours. I get that this is completely my fault as I have opted to use her real name, Kitty Pryde, instead of her superhero name – Shadowcat. Which is a pretty awesome codename and maybe I can go back and forth with it but I’m so accustomed to just typing Kitty Pryde that it is instinct to do so now.
Kitty started using the codename, Shadowcat, at the end of the legendary miniseries, Kitty Pryde and Wolverine. The story that introduced us to Ogun, one of Kitty’s greatest enemies.

Still annoying that the Google Searches that bring people to this blog are unknown so I can’t tell what is working and not working. At least the threads that they look at gives me a clue but it would still be nice to know what got people here.

With the success of “Kitty Pryde Blog” getting us from the 16th page of Google to the 3rd page (at the bottom of it but still!) let’s see what happens with Greatest Fictional Character of All Time!
We did get another visitor from Portugal, hello!, so that was nice! Now we are sitting with nine from South Africa and Peru!
I just checked all 28 pages of search results and we didn’t make the list this time. There are several sites that I think we deserved to be ahead of.
Just to make sure, for new visitors, the Greatest Fictional Character of All Time is Kitty Pryde, the X-Men’s Shadowcat! Co-created by John Byrne and Chris Claremont. Her first appearance is Uncanny X-Men 129, published date January 1980. The title of the issue is “God Spare the Child.” It was inked by Terry Austin. Colored by Bob Sharen and Lettered by Tom Orzechowski. Roger Stern had the honor of editing the issue.
EDIT TO ADD – We are on Page 22 of Google’s Search Results for “Greatest Fictional Character of All Time” but not for this post but in general – which is still find. Also, we are number two for “Kitty Pryde Blog” which is amazing! Thanks everybody, couldn’t do it without all of you visitors!
Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I bet all of the Big Brother posts didn’t help things but here’s my problem. I like to Google “Kitty Pryde Blog” without the quotation marks, and see how many pages back I have to go before I find one of my articles.
Once, we were on page 14. It typically is the Kitty Pryde Time Phasing Powers article that use to be our top article on this site.
Usually we are somewhere either on page 16 or 18 of a Google search. I’m not sure what causes the drop or the raise but I would like to be higher on the list.
I read that I have to use the terms, Kitty Pryde, more, which I thought I was doing enough already but I guess I have to type her full name more.
One of the major problems is that rapper that use to go by, Kitty Pryde, before she just went by Kitty. But all of her blogs and people writing about her and her blog, pushes a lot of the comic book websites farther down the list.
I’m not saying I should be on page one. Pending on various other searches, we here at S&FwM, can get on page one or two but I wouldn’t mind the main searchable words being an option.
I was looking for some images from Legendary Star Lord 3 and was happy to see the blog made it to some image searches.
Like I state above, I’m not sure what is the solution but I thought if I had least let my intentions be known, then I can get this thought out of my head. Also, maybe the universe will start helping me out as well but it gets frustrating at times. I know we are still a relatively young blog here, and it takes time to get known. I’m willing to do the work for that but I also want some encouragement as well.
A search for “Greatest Fictional Character of All Time” gets me also around the 16 or 18 page mark. Just how these things work out. Also, good to recognize that that’s page 16 out of hundreds, possibly thousands, so I should be happy with that. And I am for the most part. Just checked and my recent post abut All New X-Men 29 is on page 15, that’s pretty awesome!
We do show up on the first page if you type, Greatest Fictional Character of All Time Kitty Pryde, so that is pretty great. Just need some other like minded individuals to do that same search. Which must happen, right?
